Twitter for Twits

A number of MTBF members recently attended a training session on the phenomena that is Twitter. Twitter is a social networking and micro blogging site which was launched in 2006 by creator Jack Darsey and has grown in popularity ever since. In the first quarter of 2010 there were over 4 billion “tweets”, which are messages of up to 140 characters in which “twitterers” can chat to their followers.

Twitter is often used by business owners as a free way of promoting their business to an international audience, a number of MTBF members are currently on Twitter, click on the links below to follow them on Twitter.
